One Click Actions processes all personal data in compliance with the general principles of data processing:

  • Collection and processing of personal data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and no further processing in a manner incompatible with those purposes (purpose limitation);
  • Ensure that personal data is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed (data minimization);
  • Ensure that personal data is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date (accuracy);
  • Ensure that personal data are kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed (storage limitation);
  • Processing of personal data in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures (integrity and confidentiality).

All information stored on the One Click Actions platform is treated as strictly confidential. All information is stored securely and is only accessible to qualified and authorized personnel.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

3.1 Information that you provide to us.

Information required to use the One Click Actions platform

We request and collect the following personal information from you when you use the One Click Actions platform. This information is necessary for the proper performance of the contractual relationship that exists between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you do not provide this data or decide to refuse or delete the processing of certain data, this may result in the deactivation of your One Click Actions account.

  • Login account information: When you sign up with One Click Actions, we are required to provide you with the minimum information – email address and password. In some cases, we may ask you to provide additional information – such as your first and last name, identity verification, contact details. Such information is required if you wish to register a domain name and is provided as WHOIS information.
  • Login information: We collect login and email information from Google. Please note https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/oauth2/scopes?hl=de and the email, name and last name (depending on your choice) from Facebook (Meta).
  • Identity Verification: In order to comply with the rules established by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (“ICANN”) prior to registering a new domain name, One Click Actions may collect identity verification information (e.g., pictures of your passport, identification card, valid driver’s license, or other documents as required or permitted by applicable law).
  • Payment information: In order to order and use features of the One Click Actions platform (such as web hosting, domain registration), you may need to provide us with certain financial information to facilitate payment processing. We use third party services (payment processors) so we do not collect and store credit card information (we receive payment status information and only store the last 4 digits of the credit card).
  • Communication, chats, messages: When you communicate with One Click Actions (via the general inquiry window), we collect information about your communication and any information you choose to provide or disclose. In order to respond to your request, we may access information provided in your One Click Actions account, purchase history, etc.
  • Information from applicants: We also collect information that you have provided to us when you apply for any of the vacancies posted at https://oneclickactions.com/jobs, by email or otherwise. Further details can be found in section 5 below.
  • Visitors and users of our users’ websites or services: We may also collect information about visitors and users of our users’ websites or services (“users of users”), solely on behalf of our users.

You may also provide information when you fill out a form, conduct a search, update or add information to your One Click Actions account, answer surveys, post in community forums, participate in promotions, or use other features of the One Click Actions platform. We do not recommend posting information that you do not wish to make public. If you upload content to your account or post content to your website and otherwise make it available as part of your use of a service, you do so at your own risk.

One Click Actions processes information that you provide to us on the legal basis of:

  • Your consent, which you express when you voluntarily submit your personal data in registration forms, by e-mail, inquiry window, etc;
  • the conclusion and fulfillment of contractual agreements and obligations between One Click Actions and the user;
  • the pursuit of the legitimate interests of One Click Actions as data controller and operator of the One Click Actions platform;

Disclaimer

Please always ensure and observe at least the following minimum requirements to protect your personal information:

  • Please do not use your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, personal identification numbers, date of birth, bank account number, card number, other special (sensitive) data etc. in the subject of the request or in the file name;
  • Please do not use personal codes, credit card numbers and other financial information and details, health information, family members’ details or other specific (sensitive) data in the text of any inquiries, emails or similar communications to us and
  • Please ensure that the remaining personal data is only provided to the extent necessary for the purposes for which the letter, request or inquiry is sent.

Right to erasure of your data

You can access, edit, update or delete your contact details at any time by logging into your One Click Actions platform account.

Please note that you can only delete your email address during the deactivation of your One Click Actions account. To deactivate your account, please send your request to info@oneclickactions.com and you will receive further instructions.

Information about calls or meetings you attend

In cases where you call One Click Actions or make an appointment for a meeting, such conversations are recorded by One Click Actions for quality management purposes. This allows us to maintain and improve the quality of the One Click Actions services in accordance with our quality standards and guidelines. For this purpose, we process the following data Email address, date and time of the conversation, its duration, audio and/or video recording, as well as other personal data that you have voluntarily provided during the conversation. The e-mail address and/or telephone number provided may also be used to enable you to contact us or to contact you regarding your matter.

In such cases, the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by One Click Actions (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) or is based on your consent if you agree to the video recording by activating the video recording or voluntarily providing certain data (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

The recordings are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted as quickly as possible.

3.2 Information we collect when you use the Platform

When you use the One Click Actions platform or contact us directly via a communication channel, we may collect information, including personal information, about the services you use and how you use them.

This information is necessary for the proper performance of the contract between you and us, to ensure that we comply with our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in providing and improving the functionality and security of the One Click Actions platform.

Automatic data collection

  • Log data and device information: We automatically collect Log Data and Device Information when you access and use the One Click Actions Platform, even if you have not created a One Click Actions account or logged in. This information includes, but is not limited to: IP addresses, browser information including type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, device characteristics including operating system, date/time stamp and/or click history.
  • Tracking technologies and cookies: We use cookies, beacons, tags, scripts and other similar technologies, such as CI codes (click tracking), ISC (source tracking) and ITC (item tracking codes). We also automatically collect information about the device’s operating system, phone model, device ID and customer number.   • Usage information: We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your interactions with the One Click Actions Platform (which pages you visit, such as the pages or content you view, your searches for listings, bookings you have made, and other actions on the One Click Actions Platform). As a result, Google, Inc. places a persistent cookie in your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site. For more information, please visit Google.
  • Geo-location data: We collect information about your approximate location, as determined by data such as your IP address, in order to provide you with an enhanced user experience and to comply with applicable legal requirements, such as taxes, pricing, etc. Such data can only be collected when you access the One Click Actions platform with your device.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use, store, combine and process information, including personal data, about you to provide, understand, improve and develop the Hostinger platform, to create a trusted and secure environment and to comply with our legal obligations.

For identification. Personal identification data is collected and processed for the purpose of user identification, use of services and domain name registration. In addition, this information may be used to provide support to users, to inform them of upcoming updates or improvements, to provide information on changes to the terms of use (including changes to this policy) and other important information.

To create and maintain a trustworthy environment. We verify or authenticate information or identification that you have provided (such as ID number, email or phone numbers). We also use the information we collect to detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, security incidents and other illegal and harmful activities.

To create aggregated statistical data, conduct market research and analysis. In order to manage our business and improve our services, we use aggregated and/or derived non-personal information that enables us to assess the needs of our customers, sales figures and other trends in our activities.

To stay connected. We use information about data usage, devices and operating systems to diagnose problems with our servers, administer our platform, make decisions about when to discontinue SDKs/operating system versions, to identify characteristics of key users so that we can optimize our applications and services and make your browsing and shopping experience more enjoyable.

To adapt marketing. In order to provide our users with customized offers, we perform data analysis based on information you provide to us and your interactions with the Hostinger platform and its users.

To send service and billing messages. Hostinger may also contact you with important information about our services or their use. For example, we may send you a notification (via one of the available communication channels) when a particular service is temporarily suspended for maintenance; respond to your support ticket or email; send you reminders or alerts about upcoming or late payments for your current or upcoming subscriptions; relay abuse complaints regarding your hosting plan; or inform you of material changes to our services. Such communication is essential; therefore, there are no opt-out options to avoid receiving such service and billing messages unless you are no longer a Hostinger user (which can be done by deactivating your account).

To inform you about the status of unfulfilled orders. We may send you an email notification about the status of your pending order. Such notifications are based on our legitimate interest to improve your experience with us and to help you with any issues you may have with your orders. You have the full right to unsubscribe from such notifications at any time via the unsubscribe link in the email or in your account settings.

To register domains. In certain jurisdictions or according to the rules of ICANN or certain registries, domain registration information must be made publicly available via a “WHOIS” query. The WHOIS database is a publicly accessible database that lists the domain registration information for a particular domain, the name servers to which the domain points, and the creation and expiration dates of the domain. The domain registration information you provide is stored by Hostinger and is publicly accessible via WHOIS queries. Hostinger may store your domain registration information with a third-party escrow provider to fulfill ICANN requirements. Occasionally, users receive offers resulting from queries of the publicly accessible WHOIS database by other companies or individuals. Any such offers or e-mail communications do not originate from Hostinger, and Hostinger is not responsible for the use of WHOIS information by third parties. To contact you. To notify you about your account, to resolve problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or amounts owed, to solicit your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send you updates about our business, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national law, and any agreements we have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you by email, telephone, text message and via the Portal.

To receive feedback. We may contact you by email to invite you to rate services and/or products you have received from us in order to collect your feedback and improve our services. We may use an external company to collect your feedback, which means that we may share your name, email address and reference number for this purpose.

5. INFORMATION ABOUT VISITORS AND USERS OF OUR USERS’ WEBSITES OR SERVICES

We may collect, store and process certain information about visitors and users of our users’ websites or services, solely on behalf of and at the direction of our users. Each of our users is able to collect and manage information, including personal data, via their website. Such information and personal data is then stored by Hostinger. For such purposes, in certain limited cases as set out in the Terms of Use, Hostinger may be considered a “processor” of such information relating to visitors and users of its websites or services in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The users who control and operate such user websites are considered the “data controllers” of such information and are solely, fully and completely responsible and liable for compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the collection and control of such information, including all privacy and data security laws of all relevant jurisdictions.

The User is solely, fully and completely responsible for the security, integrity and authorized use of information relating to visitors and users of its websites or services, as well as for obtaining consents, approvals and providing all necessary information for fair processing required for the collection and use of such information.

Hostinger has no direct relationship with the individual visitors and users of our users’ websites or services whose personal data is processed. If you are a customer of one of our users and wish to make a request regarding your personal data, please contact this user or these users directly.

6. DIRECT MARKETING AND SERVICE EXPIRY NOTIFICATIONS/RENEWAL REMINDERS

When creating an account on our platform, subject to available preferences, you are free to give your consent and/or unsubscribe from receiving various offers and/or notifications directly via email, phone (SMS and/or WhatsApp messages) or in your account. We will use the contact details provided and your preferences for direct marketing (by sending various offers or newsletters) and/or service expiry notifications/renewal reminders.

These communications may be personalized depending on your preferences and may take into account information that you have provided to us (e.g. location, social media information, purchase history, etc.) or that we have collected or generated from other sources, as described below.

Please note that if you sign up for service expiry notifications/renewal reminders via SMS/WhatsApp, we have the right, but not the obligation, to send such notifications/reminders for each service.

Right of objection / withdrawal of consent

If a user wishes to change their communication preferences (withdraw consent or object), they can exercise this option at any time by (1) following the unsubscribe instructions in the email received (usually by clicking on a link provided for this purpose at the bottom of our email) / text message; (2) visiting and adjusting the user’s personal account settings (communication preferences).

7. OTHER USES OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Development of the platform. We use data, including public feedback, to conduct research and development to enhance our platform to provide you and others with a better, more intuitive and personalized experience and to drive membership growth.

Customer support. We use data to help you and resolve problems. We use the data (which may include your communications) to investigate, respond to and resolve complaints and issues (e.g. bugs).

Aggregated findings. We use data to generate aggregated insights. We use your data to create and share aggregated insights that do not identify you.

Security and investigations. We use data for security purposes, fraud prevention and investigations. We use your information (including your communications) when we believe it is necessary for security reasons or to investigate possible fraud or other violations of our Terms of Use or this Policy or attempts to harm our users.

8. SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA
We collect and receive your personal data both from you (including your device) and from the following sources:

  • Operators of social networks (such as Facebook, Google, etc.);
  • Third-party providers, suppliers and our partners;
  • Other legal sources.

9. STORAGE AND REMOVAL
In general, we will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with our legal obligations. When your personal data is no longer required, we will ensure that it is securely deleted.

If you no longer wish us to use your personal data, you must request the deletion of your personal data and close your account with One Click Actions.

After account deactivation, we may retain the following data to comply with legal requirements (e.g. tax, accounting, legal reporting, anti-money laundering, etc.) for as long as we are legally required to do so:

  • Profile with anonymized information (we change your email to nutzer@gelöscht.com, delete your name, surname and contact details), such as services purchased, login information, payment information, etc.

Please note that we may retain certain personal data in such cases (i.e. after you close your account with One Click Actions):

  • As long as it is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as detecting and preventing fraud and enhancing security. If One Click Actions suspends your account for security reasons, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new account in the future;
  • To the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. One Click Actions may retain parts of your information for tax, legal and audit purposes;
  • Posts in forums or other publicly visible information may continue to be publicly available on the One Click Actions platform even after your account has been deactivated. However, the association of this information with you will be removed. In addition, some copies of your information (e.g. access logs) may still exist in our database, but are separate from personal identifiers;
  • To resolve disputes;
  • To enforce our agreements and/or pursue or protect our legitimate interests;
  • Because we protect the One Click Actions platform from accidental or malicious loss and destruction, residues of your personal data may remain in our backup systems for a limited period of time;
  • Domain Registration Data: At the time of writing this policy, we are required to provide personal information about the domain owner in order to register a domain; this information is displayed in the WHOIS directory and is public. For more information, please visit ICANN.

10. DATA TRANSFER AND USE OF THIRD PARTY SERVICES
When collecting and processing your personal data, we may transfer data to various third parties.

10.1 With your consent or on another lawful basis
We will share your personal data with companies, organizations or individuals outside our group of companies if we have your consent to do so or on another lawful basis.

10.2 Where do we process your personal data?
Users’ personal data may be held, processed and stored by One Click Actions and our authorized partners and service providers in Germany as well as in other jurisdictions as necessary to adequately provide our services and/or as required by law.

Jobseeker information is held, processed and stored in Germany, at the location of the requested job, as well as in secure cloud storage provided by our third party services as required.

One Click Actions is based in Germany, which is a member of the EU and provides an adequate level of protection for the personal data of residents of EU member states.

One Click Actions’ affiliates and service providers (such as third-party data centers, servers, web design, administration services, traffic and website analytics, statistics, direct marketing services, mailers, messengers, email service providers (if you choose to purchase or use such services) and services powered by machine learning or AI, etc.) that store or process your personal data and your users’ personal data on behalf of One Click Actions are contractually bound to protect and secure it in accordance with industry standards and not to breach any legal requirements that may apply.) that store or process your personal data and the personal data of your users on behalf of One Click Actions are contractually obliged to protect and secure it in accordance with industry standards and not to breach any legal requirements that may apply in their jurisdiction.

In order to implement various fraud detection processes as part of our ordering system, we share data with Ravelin, a fraud prevention service provider. A copy of Ravelin’s privacy policy is available at Ravelin Privacy Policy, which explains how Ravelin will use your personal data for these purposes.

We may share publicly non-identifiable information as well as with our partners, publishers and advertisers. For example, we may share public information to show general trends about the use of our platform.

If we are involved in a merger, reorganization, acquisition or sale, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of all personal data and provide appropriate notices to all affected users.

Some of our servers are located outside the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA), such as in the US, Brazil, Singapore, Indonesia; therefore, depending on your choices or the Services, your personal data and the personal data of your users could be transferred to data processors, sub-processors or other recipients of data in these third countries (i.e. data centers and servers located outside the EU or EEA). We will ensure that said personal data is only transferred where there is a sufficient basis for doing so under the RGPD and other applicable laws.

Standard contractual clauses for the transfer of data outside the EU or EEA. Your personal data, as well as the personal data of your users, could be transferred to data processors, sub-processors or other recipients of data in third countries for other legitimate reasons compatible with the requirements of the GDPR (Art. 45-49).

Data transfer and disclosure to competent authorities. In certain situations, One Click Actions may be required to disclose personal data in response to legal requests from public authorities or other competent authorities, including where this is necessary to comply with national security or law enforcement requirements, and we will do so where permitted by local data protection laws.

10.3 Data localization obligations
If you reside in a jurisdiction that has “data localization” or “data residency” requirements (i.e., that require the personal information of your residents to be retained within the boundaries of that jurisdiction) and we become aware of this, we may retain your personal information within those boundaries if we are legally required to do so.

You acknowledge that by doing so, we may continue to collect, store and use your personal data in other locations.

10.4 Advertising and marketing

10.5 Functions of social networks
Our services include certain social network functions and widgets as well as single sign-on functions such as “Facebook Connect” or “Google Sign-in”, the Facebook “Like” button, the “Share” button, etc.

11. SAFETY
One Click Actions has implemented security measures to protect the personal information you share with us, including physical, electronic and procedural measures. Among other things, we provide secure HTTPS access to most areas of our services. We also regularly monitor our systems for potential vulnerabilities and attacks and continually look for new opportunities and third-party services to further enhance the security of our Services and the privacy of our visitors and users.

However, despite the measures and efforts taken by One Click Actions, we cannot guarantee the absolute security and privacy of your personal information or other content you upload, post or otherwise share with One Click Actions.

We therefore recommend that you set strong passwords for your user account and do not provide us or others with any sensitive information, the disclosure of which could cause you significant or irreparable harm.

12. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to a number of rights regarding the protection of your personal data, subject to the restrictions, limitations and conditions set out in the GDPR and applicable laws. These rights include:

Automated individual decision-making, including profiling
In certain cases, we make automated decisions that affect you. We may use technology to assess your personal situation and other factors to predict potential risks or outcomes (this practice is known as profiling). We do this to make decisions that are fair, consistent and based on accurate data.

In cases where a decision based solely on automated processing has a legal effect on you or similarly significantly affects you, you have the right to challenge the decision, present your point of view and request human intervention. You can do this by contacting our customer service team or using the email address provided in this section. We will consider your request and conduct a human review of the decision to ensure that your rights are fully respected.

For example, we make automated decisions and carry out profiling in the following cases:

  • Performing a fraud check before a purchase is accepted. This helps to protect our customers and our website from potential fraud risks, consumer fraud or abuse. If anyone does not agree with this policy, they should refrain from using our website and mobile applications. Continued use of the One Click Actions website and mobile applications implies acceptance of the revised policy.
