Domain registration agreement from One Click Actions

This Domain Name Registration Agreement (“Agreement”) is a contract between One Click Actions (“Registrar”) and you (“Registrant”) and sets forth the terms and conditions for the application, registration, use, renewal, transfer and administration of domain names through One Click Actions. By registering a domain name with One Click Actions, you agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth herein, as well as the policies of the applicable registry, ICANN regulations and applicable laws in Germany.


1. definitions

  • Registrar: One Click Actions, the authorized domain name management and registration organization that coordinates the registration process between the registrant and the relevant registry.
  • Registrant: The natural or legal person who applies for the registration of a domain name via One Click Actions and is responsible for its use.
  • Registry: The entity that is responsible for the administration of a particular top-level domain (TLD) and establishes policies and procedures for the registration and administration of domains.
  • ICANN: Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, which monitors and regulates the registration process for domain names worldwide.
  • Domain name: A unique identifier on the Internet that is registered under a specific TLD and administered according to the registry’s policies and ICANN rules.
  • Authorization code (EPP): A unique code that verifies ownership of the domain and is required for transfer between registrars.

2. acceptance of the conditions

  • Express agreement: By applying for domain name registration through One Click Actions, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted this agreement as well as the ICANN policies and the registration conditions of the respective registry.
  • Compliance with Registry Policies: You agree to comply with the specific registry requirements for the TLD of your domain as well as the general registration policies of ICANN.
  • Authorization of the registrant: By applying for registration, you declare that you are authorized to register the domain name and that this registration does not infringe any third-party rights.

3 Obligations of the registrant

  • Provide accurate information: Registrant agrees to provide complete, truthful and current information at the time of application, including full name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number and any other information required by the Registry or ICANN.
  • Updating the information: During the validity period of the registration, the registrant must ensure that all contact information and payment methods are up to date. Incorrect information may lead to suspension or deletion of the domain.
  • Compliance with legal regulations: The Registrant warrants that the use of the registered domain complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy regulations in Germany and the European Union.
  • Legally compliant use of the domain: The Registrant agrees not to use the domain for illegal activities such as infringement of intellectual property rights, fraudulent activities, distribution of malware, spam, phishing or other activities prohibited by ICANN or the Registry.
  • Responsibility for domain use: The registrant assumes responsibility for all activities related to their domain and agrees to indemnify One Click Actions for any damages, claims or losses resulting from misuse of the domain.

4. rights and obligations of One Click Actions as registrar

  • Managing the registration process: One Click Actions manages the registration of the domain name in accordance with the Registry’s policies and ICANN regulations. This process includes verifying the information provided and coordinating with the registry to finalize the registration.
  • Notification of registration status: One Click Actions will inform the registrant of the status of the registration by sending notifications to the contact details provided.
  • Protection of personal data: One Click Actions processes the registrant’s personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws such as the GDPR in the European Union.
  • Suspension or Cancellation of Registration: One Click Actions reserves the right to suspend, cancel or deny registration if the Registrant fails to comply with the requirements set forth in this Agreement, the Registry Policies or the ICANN Rules.
  • Registrant Support: One Click Actions will provide the Registrant with the necessary support to guide the Registrant through the registration process and ensure that all stages of the process comply with the terms of this Agreement.

5. registration period and renewal of the domain

  • Duration of registration: The domain is registered for the period selected by the registrant at the time of application. At the end of this period, the domain must be renewed in order to retain its validity.
  • Automatic renewal: Unless otherwise stated, One Click Actions offers the option of automatic renewal at the end of the registration period. It is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure that the payment information is valid and sufficient to cover the automatic renewal.
  • Renewal reminder: One Click Actions will remind the registrant of the renewal before the domain expiration date by sending notifications to the contact details provided.
  • Deletion in case of non-renewal: If the domain is not renewed before its expiration date, One Click Actions can delete the registration and make the domain available to other interested parties.

6. transfer of domain names

  • Transfer to another registrar: The registrant has the right to transfer their domain to another authorized registrar in accordance with the registry’s policies and ICANN rules. For the transfer, the registrant must provide the authorization code (EPP) and meet all requirements and payments specified by One Click Actions.
  • Internal transfer: If the registrant wishes to transfer the domain to another user within One Click Actions, they must follow the internal transfer procedures and pay the relevant fees.
  • Transfer restrictions: There may be a blocking period of 60 days after the initial registration or a transfer, during which the domain cannot be transferred to another registrar.

7. dispute resolution procedure

  • Compliance with the UDRP: Disputes relating to the ownership or use of a domain name are resolved in accordance with ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
  • Register-specific dispute resolution procedures: In some cases, specific dispute resolution procedures may be applied by the Registry. One Click Actions will notify the registrant if such additional procedures are applicable.

8. fees and payments

  • Payment of fees: The Registrant agrees to pay all applicable fees for registration, renewal, transfer and other additional services provided by One Click Actions. The fees are listed in the price list.
  • Refund Policy: Unless otherwise stated, fees paid are non-refundable, including those related to canceled registrations, failed transfers or unused registration periods.
  • Taxes and Additional Fees: Registrant is responsible for any applicable taxes or additional fees for domain registration services as required by applicable law.

9. limitation of liability

  • Disclaimer: One Click Actions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the registered domain, including, but not limited to, lost profits, business interruption or loss of data.
  • Force Majeure: One Click Actions shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement if such failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, acts of government or network failures.

10. amendments to the agreement

  • Right to amend: One Click Actions reserves the right to amend this agreement at any time. The changes will take effect as soon as they have been published on the One Click Actions website.
  • Notification to the Registrant: One Click Actions will notify the registrant of any changes to this agreement through the contact information provided. Continued use of the domain after the changes will be deemed acceptance of the changes.

11 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany.
  • Place of jurisdiction: All disputes arising in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

By registering a domain name with One Click Actions, you agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement and agree to abide by the policies of the Registry and ICANN.
