Domain transfer agreement from One Click Actions

This Domain Transfer Agreement (“Agreement”) is a contract between One Click Actions (“Registrar”) and you (“Registrant”) and sets forth the terms and conditions for the transfer of domain names through One Click Actions. By requesting a domain name transfer, you agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth herein, as well as the policies of the applicable registry, ICANN rules and German law.


1. definitions

  • Registrar: One Click Actions, the organization authorized to manage and transfer domain names, which coordinates the transfer process between the registrant and the corresponding registry.
  • Registrant: The natural or legal person who requests a domain transfer via One Click Actions and is responsible for providing the necessary information and authorizations.
  • Registry: The entity responsible for the administration of a particular top-level domain (TLD), which sets policies and procedures for the registration and transfer of domains.
  • ICANN: Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, which oversees and regulates the procedures for the transfer of domain names worldwide.
  • Authorization code (EPP): A unique authentication code that is required to initiate the domain transfer and is provided by the current registrar of the domain.

2 Scope of the agreement

This Agreement applies to all domain transfer requests processed by One Click Actions and covers the rights and obligations of the Registrant and the Registrar in relation to the application, processing, payment and completion of domain transfers.

3. acceptance of the conditions

  • Express Agreement: By requesting a domain transfer through One Click Actions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Agreement, the ICANN Policies and the Registry’s Transfer Policy.
  • Registry Compliance: You agree to comply with the specific registry requirements for your domain’s TLD and ICANN’s procedures that establish general transfer guidelines.
  • Authorization of the registrant: By initiating the transfer process, you confirm that you have the legal and legitimate authority to request the transfer of the domain and that the transfer does not violate any third-party rights.

4 Obligations of the registrant

  • Provision of accurate information: The registrant agrees to provide truthful, complete and current information at the time of the transfer request. This includes full name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and all other required information.
  • Updating information: During the transfer process, the registrant must ensure that all contact details and payment methods are up to date, as any discrepancy may result in the transfer being canceled.
  • Compliance with regulations: The Registrant warrants that the use of the transferred domain is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy regulations in Germany and the European Union.
  • Responsibility for the authorization code (EPP): The registrant is responsible for obtaining and providing the correct authorization code (EPP) from the current registrar in order to initiate the transfer.
  • Compliance with the blocking periods: The registrant accepts that a transfer of the domain is not possible if it has been registered or transferred within the last 60 days, except for specific ICANN exceptions.

5 Rights and obligations of One Click Actions as registrar

  • Handling the transfer: One Click Actions will manage the transfer process in accordance with the Registry’s policies and ICANN’s regulations. This includes reviewing the information provided and coordinating with the current registrar to complete the transfer.
  • Notification of transfer status: One Click Actions will keep the registrant informed of the status of the transfer request by sending notifications to the contact details provided.
  • Protection of personal data: One Click Actions processes the registrant’s personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, such as the GDPR in the European Union.
  • Suspension or Rejection of Transfer: One Click Actions reserves the right to suspend, reject or cancel the transfer request if the Registrant fails to comply with the requirements set forth in this Agreement, the Registry Policies or the ICANN Rules.
  • Provision of Assistance: One Click Actions will provide reasonable assistance and guidance to the Registrant to complete the transfer process in accordance with this Agreement.

6. transfer process

  • Requesting the transfer: The registrant must initiate the transfer request by providing the authorization code (EPP) and all other information required by the current registrar and the registry.
  • Confirmation of transfer: Upon receipt of the request, One Click Actions will send a confirmation email to the registrant’s registered email address. It is the responsibility of the registrant to respond to this confirmation in order to proceed with the transfer.
  • Approval of the current registrar: The current registrar of the domain must approve the transfer. If the current registrar rejects the transfer, the transfer may be delayed or canceled.
  • Transfer time: The transfer process may take 5 to 7 business days depending on the TLD and current registrar. One Click Actions does not guarantee a specific completion time and is not liable for delays caused by third parties.
  • Completion of Transfer: Upon completion of the transfer, the domain will be administered by One Click Actions in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement and the Registry and ICANN Policies.

7 Fees and payments

  • Payment of transfer fees: The Registrant agrees to pay all fees incurred for the domain transfer in accordance with One Click Actions’ price list.
  • Non-refundable fees: Transfer fees are non-refundable, including in the event that the transfer is not completed due to non-compliance with registrant requirements or rejection by the current registrar.
  • Payment methods: The registrant must provide a valid payment method sufficient to cover the transfer fees when submitting the application.

8. dispute resolution

  • ICANN Policy: Disputes relating to the ownership or use of a domain name will be resolved in accordance with ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
  • Register disputes: In some cases, registry-specific dispute resolution procedures may be applicable. One Click Actions will inform the registrant if such procedures exist and assist the registrant in the dispute resolution process.

9. limitation of liability

  • Disclaimer: One Click Actions is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the domain transfer process, including, but not limited to, lost profits, business interruption or loss of data.
  • Force Majeure: One Click Actions shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement if such failure is due to events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, war, acts of government or network failures.

10. amendments to the agreement

  • Right of modification: One Click Actions reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time. The changes will take effect as soon as they are published on our official website.
  • Notification to the Registrant: One Click Actions will notify the Registrant of any changes to this Agreement using the contact details provided. Continued use of the Transfer Services following the changes will constitute acceptance of the changes.

11 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany.
  • Place of jurisdiction: All disputes arising in connection with this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

By requesting a domain transfer through One Click Actions, you agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement and agree to abide by the policies of the Registry and ICANN.
